We’re getting ready for our Give A Little Bit Food Drive, and we’re looking for local businesses and individuals who want to be part of making a difference right here in London.
And the best part? There are lots of ways to participate — and not all of them cost a penny.
Pick what works for you:
? Host a Drop-Off Box
Have a storefront or workplace? We’ll provide the collection box and promotional materials. You give people a convenient place to drop off donations. We’ll take care of the rest.
? Spread the Word
Share the campaign with your customers, employees, friends or social media followers. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give is simply helping people know there’s an opportunity to help.
? Shop for the Cause
We can provide a list of the items most needed. You shop, we arrange pickup. Easy.
? Give a Gift Card
Prefer not to shop? A grocery gift card allows our crew to purchase exactly what’s needed.
? Become a Financial Community Partner
Make whatever contribution makes sense for you. Every bit helps us purchase the things that are needed most.
? Do Something Creative
Have an idea? We’re all ears. Maybe your business wants to run its own mini food drive, challenge your staff, match customer donations or come up with something completely different.
There’s no minimum. No fancy sponsorship package. No complicated commitment.
We’re simply looking for people and businesses willing to Give A Little Bit.
Where does it go?
Everything collected will support Ark Aid Street Mission and Cronyn-Warner House — right here in London.
Ark Aid provides food, clothing, personal hygiene supplies and emergency support to people experiencing poverty and homelessness, along with access to showers, laundry, counselling, employment assistance and other community supports.
Cronyn-Warner House provides transitional housing and support for people at risk of homelessness, helping people move toward greater stability and independence.
One can of food isn’t going to change the world.
But one can + another can + another can + a grocery gift card + a collection box + a business sharing a post + a few people deciding they can do a little…
That’s how a community takes care of its own.
